i have a weird relationship with salem, oregon.
sometimes i can tolerate the town and my family...other times i cannot.
good thing i can just forget about it in a few days when i got to boston.

i´ve been thinking about starting a blog but since everyone and their mom just uses facebook i think i´ll pass. october 2nd will marks my first month in Argentina. it has been really good thus far. The city is really fun and I´m making new friends. I´ll be back December 19th. Hope all is swellllll.

can you believe it's almost the end of week 4? this term is going fast

got my hair done yesterday. it's not really what i wanted, and for 90 bucks i'm hoping the color fades a little..SOON..or i'm going back in to fix it. i wanted it darker..but now it's kind of dull.

i called the study abroad office the other day and found out that i am now 1st on the waiting list because they decided to accept 7 more people..so i have a wayy better chance of going..but mexico still may have to happen instead.

i just had a physics test and it was way harder than i expected. i just want to go home but i have a stupid discussion..which i think are POINTLESS btw. seriously i can name like 2 discussions at my time at U of O that really helped me do better. don't take environmental issues at U of O it's a waste of time.

oh and did i mention i got a new roommate. her name's dezi, we were pretty good friends last year so it was nice not getting a stranger. the only bad thing is she's letting her friend ashley live with us, she thought it was going to be a temporary thing...nope she's been living with us for 4 WEEKS. we're trying to make her leave but she keeps giving us excuses. today i wrote her a note to do the dishes..haha. we're going to make her pay us money if she doesn't leave. seriously, who does that shit? moves to eugene without having a place to live? common sense IDIOT GIRL!

so i didn't get into the argentina program...i'm number 8 on the waiting list..like 8 people will really change their minds..doubtful.

so i'm looking into mexico instead. less expensive, smaller university, classes taught in english (other than the required spanish classes) and my friend Jamie might be going, so we'll see.

yesterday i woke up with hives. i'm still crazy itchy. it might be that i'm allergic to my new antibiotics but i've already been taking them for a few weeks so you wouldn't think it's that..or i took this calcium magnesium pill so it could be that, or i still could be allergic to latex. i want to keep taking my antibiotic though because it's clearing up my face. in other news i applied to travel to Argentina in the fall and i also applied for the international studies major. hopefully i get into both. i started working at dairy queen and i got my first pay check which was nice..went to winco and got some much needed food. i have a physics test thursday and i work 3 days..this week should be pretty easy..i want to see a good movie tonight.

I miss the playgrounds and the animals and digging up worms.
I miss the comfort of my mother and the weight of the world.
I miss my sister, miss my father, miss my dog and my home.
I miss the boredom and the freedom and the time spent alone.

But there is really nothing, nothing we can do.

tomorrow i get my volvo back. i haven't driven it since the summer of my senior year. i'm really excited we got it fixed. i'll be driving it until i get a new car.

i wish i wasn't in the library writing papers.
gah...i can't wait for my finals to be over.

Christie came to eugene last night and we went to Alex's frat. it was a fun time.
tonight krystal is coming down for Kait's techno party.
got some studying done today...i have to read 5 more chapters for a test wednesday and write a spanish paper, due wednesday too. i swear i never get a break on tests...there is always something else due or 2 tests on the same day.
on a good note i don't have class for the next 2 weeks in my 400 level international studies class. woop.
shower time.

First week of school has passed.
Erin just moved in today and I can't wait for this year.
I'm a little confused about some stuff but meh...such is life.
